Well, Relay for Life has come and gone and I think my legs are finally recovering! Allison Dragotto ‘05 and I had a fantastic time walking, talking, and just plain enjoying all of the music, food, and fun Jill Grebert and the S.W.A.T. team planned for the event. Over all 190 people participated the day of the event. The bigger news is The Sage Colleges raised over $10,000.00 in the fight against cancer!! The goal is $12,500.00 and the good news is we have until May 2009 to reach that goal. So if you were unable to attend the event but would like to donate feel free to do so.
Also this year the American Cancer Society for the Capital Region is raising money my wrapping gifts at Colonie Center. So if your wrapping skills are lacking why not donate some dough to the ACS and let them wrap up those gifts? They are also looking for volunteers for the event. Consider donating some time to them this holiday season. For more information feel free to email me at martic@sage.edu or leave me a comment!
I also heard through the Sagevine that the Sage Leaves Wine and Cheese event was a huge success. Due to bronchitis I was unable to attend but sent on a donation for their silent auction. Congrats to a job well done ladies.
Finally if you are in Troy this Friday think about stopping by for the Sagettes annual Holiday Concert in Bush Memorial this Friday 12/12 at 7pm – there is a $3.00 fee at the door.
As I write this the semester is coming to a close and finals begin next Monday. It is hard to believe the semester has gone by so fast, but here were are a few short weeks from Christmas and New Year’s Eve! Time certainly flies at Sage.

One event I forgot to mention is happening Nov. 22, 2008 at the Sage College of Albany campus. Sage is hosting the 5th Annual Realy for Life in Memory of Aggie. So if you haven’t signed up to come out that day please do, if you can’t join the faculty, staff, students, and aulms attending consider donating to one of their teams!
The event promises to be a great night/morning (1pm – 1am) with music, food and even a Guitar Hero Tourney…so check out the link below and consider stopping by!
