New Look for Alumnae Pubs on Sage.edu!

We received great feedback on Connections new look in print, and now the online version will get a makeover, too!

Beginning with the February issue, the alumnae magazines will be available in “flip book” format on Sage.edu…for a sneak preview, check out some admission publications in flipbook format here.

Going for the Green

Sage’s Office of Communication is joining its campus colleagues in the effort to make Sage even greener. We are recycling, conserving energy and bringing our reusable mugs to the Buchman Kiosk when it’s coffee time. We are also moving toward using Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper in all alumni and admissions publications.

According to the FSC’s website, “The Forest Stewardship Council is an international certification and labeling system for products that come from responsibly managed forests, and verified recycled sources. Under FSC certification, forests are certified against a set of strict environmental and social standards, and fiber from certified forests is tracked all the way to the consumer through the chain of custody certification system. This means forests, pulp providers, mills, merchants and printers must all obtain FSC certification in order for a product to carry the FSC logo or label.”  Look for the logo on the winter issue of Connections.

RSC on MTV!

If you were channel surfing earlier this month, you may have done a double-take when you reached MTV. Dan Levy, host of “‘The Hills’ After Show” on MTV (and son of actor Eugene Levy), was wearing a classic RSC Red Devil Blazer.

Kerianne Clark Silver ’05, SGS ’08 and Erin Menzer RSC ’10 contacted MTV and learned that the blazer was procured at a vintage shop in Toronto.

You can view the show—and the blazer—at www.mtv.com/videos/the-hills-live-after-show-season-4-ep-12/1597739/playlist.jhtml. Thanks Courtney Martin ’05 for the tip!
