West Indies
I have been frantically pulling together materials for my presentation(s) and getting equally excited about the prospect of visiting Trinidad this November. Never having been to the islands of the west indies I’m truly looking forward to interacting and engaging with a culture and peoples I know very little about.

Dear Dean Porfirio,
I am interested in reading about your thoughts and reflections on Trinidad. I grew up near the St. Augustine campus and can tell you that areas around the university are kept to a much higher standard then areas further north and south.
I hope that you are able to get into some of the communities that many visitors always seem to shy away from.
